Modmail Commands

Commands for interacting with the Modmail system, managing tickets, and archiving threads. These commands should be run in a respective Modmail ticket channel, except for the unblock command.

Dashboard Configuration

Use Dashboard → Server → Modmail to configure:

  • The category where new Modmail ticket channels are created
  • Department entries (label, role to assign, emoji, modal/notice behavior)
  • Department order with move up/down controls (this is the order shown to users in the ticket selector)
  • Blocked users and archive browsing

General Commands

;ticketdebug

Shows technical details about the current modmail ticket in the active ticket channel.

Permissions required: Manage Messages
Example: ;ticketdebug

;reassign

Reassigns the current ticket to a new moderator group ping role.

Permissions required: Manage Messages
Usage: ;reassign [@role]
Example: ;reassign @Support Team

;ar (Anonymous Reply)

Anonymously replies to a ticket. It shows as "Staff" instead of your username to the user.

Permissions required: Manage Messages
Usage: ;ar [message]
Example: ;ar Hello, we are looking into this!

;reply (Regular Reply)

Replies to a ticket with your username visible. Alternatively use ;tp or ;r.

Usage: ;reply [message]
Example: ;reply Hello, we are looking into this!

/send_open_ticket_message

Sends a button panel in a given channel, allowing users to click to open a new modmail ticket without needing to DM the bot directly first.

Permissions required: Administrator
Usage: /send_open_ticket_message [channel] [header] [body]
Example: /send_open_ticket_message #support "Open Ticket" "Click below to receive help!"

/modmailunblock

Unblocks a given user from using Modmail. Users can be unblocked via this command or the Web Dashboard.

Permissions required: Administrator
Usage: /modmailunblock [@user]
Example: /modmailunblock @Wumpus

;close

Closes the active Modmail ticket, sends an archive to the dashboard, and deletes the Discord channel.

Permissions required: Manage Messages
Example: ;close
