Raptor
This provides information on how to use RaptorBot, configure.
What's Raptor?
Raptor is a very versatile Discord bot which provides communities with flexible yet powerful moderation tools. We provide robust warning systems, regularly updated smart filters, robust services. With larger bots support is hard or non-existant, with Raptor we cater to audiences from large to small. With other bots, you need to pay for basic features or support. Raptor is different, support should be a guarantee then a maybe. When the war is on, you would rather bring a reinforced jet that can handle multiple terrains, or go down with the ship?
How do I use Raptor?
Raptor is invite-only, meaning not just anyone is able to use it. Raptor is designed with community servers needing state-of-the-art moderation tools in mind. It is not a good fit for personal or friends-only servers with light moderation needs.

Privacy Policy
Raptor will only collect the essential information required to ensure features function and are able to exist.
Here is exactly what we collect, why we keep it, and how long it stays on our systems:
Persistent Data (Stored Indefinitely)
This information remains stored on our servers for the duration of it's usefulness.
- Server Logs & Infractions: When a user is warned, muted, kicked, or banned, or has any other type of enforcment action done we record the user’s ID, the issuing moderator’s ID, the type of action taken, the reason, any filter triggers, and the timestamp. This allows your team to keep track of repeat offenders. This information is visible to the moderation team in "Moderation Core" on the web dashboard, and in mod logging channels (if configured).
- Guild Configuration: We store your guild's configuration to ensure we are able to provide the functionality it is intended to provide. We store your guilds server prefix, admin/mod/trial mod roles, custom logging channel selections, active automod filters, whitelists, blocklists, and word lists, and anything else needed to provide customizability.
- Modmail History: To help your staff review appeals and past modmail tickets and requests, we save complete transcripts of active and closed modmail tickets. This includes participant IDs, timestamps, message content sent within the modmail channel, and any links shared. Ticket transcripts can be deleted in the modmail section of the web dashboard.
- Anonymized Server Stats: To display community activity graphs on your web dashboard, we count daily message volumes, total voice channel hours, popular emojis, and command usage. Crucially, these stats are aggregated anonymously: we do not store the text of the messages or associate individual user IDs with these numbers. Staff can view this information under "Analytics" in the web dashboard.
Temporary Data (Cached Transiently)
To enable the real-time moderation and safety features you configure in your channels, we hold a tiny window of recent activity.
- Recent Messages: To power "Message Deleted" and "Message Edited" log embeds, Raptor keeps a sliding window of the last 100 messages sent in each text channel.
- Cleanup & Purging: This message cache is strictly temporary. The moment a message is deleted by a user (and if message logs are enabled, sent to the mod log channel), or when a message is pushed out of the 100-message buffer by newer chat messages, it is completely and permanently erased from our volatile memory and persistent storage. Raptor developers do not monitor or read the message cache.
Sharing & Third-Parties
We do not sell, rent, or share any of your guild's data with any third-party companies. All checks for automod features are done locally on the bot instance, we do not send any user content to external services.
Leaving Raptor & Deleting Your Data
If you decide to stop using Raptor, you remain in complete control of your data:
- Automatic Purge: Removing Raptor from your server terminates our service. We automatically delete all of your server settings, infraction histories, and modmail records from our active databases within 30 days of the bot being removed.
- Volatile Cleanup: All temporary chat caches are wiped immediately the moment the bot leaves.
Security
Raptor is closed source. Only a very limited amount of people have access to the source code, servers, and database. We do not authorize 3rd party access to Raptor, its source code, or any services run by it. We may monitor usage of Raptor to ensure the bot is not being used in a malicious way.
