Custom Easter Eggs

Easter eggs allow you to configure specific word or phrase triggers that the bot will respond to. These are managed entirely through the web dashboard to allow for complex multi-line replies and easy management.

Features

  • Exact Matching: Triggers match the user's message exactly (case-insensitive).
  • Punctuation Control: Option to ignore punctuation (symbols like !, ?, .) during matching.
  • Placeholders: Dynamic variables to personalize replies.
  • Author Tracking: See which moderator created each trigger.
  • Toggleable: Enable or disable triggers without deleting them.

Dad Jokes (Auto-replies to "I'm")

The bot includes a classic Dad Joke feature that responds to phrases like "I'm", "Im", or "I am".

Variables / Placeholders

You can use the following placeholders in your bot replies:

Management

Custom Easter Eggs are managed via the Web Dashboard:

  1. Log in to the Raptor Dashboard.
  2. Select your server.
  3. Navigate to the Fun category in the sidebar.
  4. From here you can add new triggers, toggle existing ones, or delete them.
  • Triggers: Only one easter egg trigger will fire per message to prevent spam.

eightball <question>

Ask the magic 8-ball a question and receive a random response.

rps <choice>

Play a round of Rock, Paper, Scissors against the bot.

  • Options for choice: "Rock", "Paper", "Scissors"
  • The game can be toggled on/off by administrators via the Web Dashboard.

rpsa <choice>

Play a round of Rock, Paper, Scissors Advanced against the bot.

  • The options and their advantages can be fully customized by administrators via the Web Dashboard!
